Sonoma Retreat and Wine Makers Dinner
I've always loved springtime in Wine Country. In spring, trees begin to grow back their leaves, flowers begin to blossom and bloom, and animals begin to come back from migration or start coming out of hibernation. It is truly beautiful how nature renews itself in the springtime. I want to encourage you to let go of the old to make room for the new and grow, or transform as a person, and promote the renewal of yourself. In our one day retreat, we will gather for two practices at the beautiful Green Valley Farm Barn in Sonoma and culminate the day for a Wine Makers Dinner at my favorite winery, Paul Mathew. Green Valley Farm + Mill is a collectively owned 172 acres and is home to residents, small businesses, artists, makers, builders, growers, farmers and land-tenders. Located on Southern Pomo, Kashia, and Coast Miwok ancestral lands, they are nestled along the headwaters of Green Valley Creek, and surrounded by neighbors that have lived and stewarded the land since settlement. Mat Gustafson of Paul Mathew Vineyards has been in the wine and food industry for over 40 years. Having worked alongside masters of wine, such as Joe Dutton and Merry Edwards, he opened up his own winery and runs it with his wife Barb, who is a celebrated Sommelier and all around bad ass business woman.
Date: April 20th, 2024
Cost: $295 for the retreat, includes Wine Makers Dinner
$140 for the retreat, without Wine Makers Dinner
Non refundable payments can be sent to Wes via Venmo @Wes-Linch, through Zelle or by check.
